At the Interreligious Eco-Justice Network, we work to build a religious response to global warming. IREJN has many programs available to help you reduce your carbon footprint, both at home and in your place of worship. For example, your congregation can raise awareness about climate change by participating in Earth Day Preaching. You build a strong earth ministry program at your congregation with tools and idea from our Green Houses of Worship program. As an affiliate of the CT Roundtable on Climate & Jobs, IREJN is part of a groundbreaking partnership with the AFL-CIO and other labor unions to work together for a green economy. And don’t forget to check out the delicious recipes in our Climate Kitchen!
And those are just a few of the resources available to help you combat climate change with the Interreligious Eco-Justice Network. Please read about all of our programs and contact Terri Eickel at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more!
