Rev. Thomas Carr

The Reverend Tom Carr is an ordained minister of the American Baptist Churches, USA, and recently retired Pastor of the Second Baptist Church of Suffield, Connecticut.  He is a certified Spiritual Director, completing the Internship program of the Spiritual Life Center in 2014, and for 30 years he has been involved in issues of ecology, environmental justice and spirituality with local congregations, ecumenically and on an interfaith basis.  He works with the Spiritual Life Center in spiritual direction and is the co-founder of the American Baptist Churches, USA, Creation Justice Network (ABC, CJN) and the Connecticut Interreligious Eco-Justice Network (IREJN).  He is also part of the National Religious Coalition on Creation Care (NRCCC).  He is blessed to be married to Peg Carr (40 years on June 13^th!) and has two adult children – Sarah and Geoff – and a daughter-in-law, Sarah Lombardo.
