Faith Takes Flight: Birdwatching in Bridgeport
Saturday, May 3, 10:00 am
Knowlton Park, 405 Knowlton Street, Bridgeport
On Saturday, May 3, 2025 Join us for Faith Takes Flight, a special interfaith birdwatching event that brings together faith leaders, community members, and nature enthusiasts to celebrate the beauty of creation. Birds have long been symbols of peace, hope, and spiritual connection across different faith traditions. This gathering offers a unique opportunity to reflect on the sacredness of nature while exploring the skies and trees around us.
Guided by an experienced birder, we’ll observe local bird species, learn about their significance in our local urban ecosystems, reflect on different cultures and faiths, and discuss the importance of conservation in our communities. Whether you are an avid birdwatcher or just curious to learn, this event welcomes all who appreciate the wonder of the natural world. Presented in partnership with Sierra Club and CT Land Conservation Council
