500 years ago, Martin Luther nailed 95 Thesis to the door of the church, identifying problems within the Church and launching the Reformation. Today, on the 500th Anniversary of that act, we presented 9.5 Thesis to Governor Malloy that identify problems with our state budget that are in conflict with sacred teachings and universal moral code.

Eastern CT Couple Active in Banning Fracking Waste…And How You Can Help

Our corner of Creation, one of the smallest and most densely populated states, is on a path for permanent contamination. Current state law mandates that DEEP submit regulations for review, as early as this summer, regarding fracking waste brought to CT from other states. Thousands of spills have occurred when moving and transferring this waste. Regulations will not keep CT safe. Read more to hear what one CT couple is doing to ban fracking waste.

Report on Climate Change Conference in NYC

Last March 31, Father Sam Fuller, a friend, colleague and activist on behalf of God’s creation and all people and board member of IREJN, participated in a one day conference, Opportunities to Raise Public Awareness about Climate Change and the Need for Action, convened by the NYC Bar Association held at their headquarters in downtown Manhattan. Sam was invited to serve on a panel to discuss the implications of the Papal Encyclical, issued in June, 2015. Read more and download the full report.
