Last March 31, Father Sam Fuller, a friend, colleague and activist on behalf of God’s creation and all people and board member of IREJN, participated in a one day conference, Opportunities to Raise Public Awareness about Climate Change and the Need for Action, convened by the NYC Bar Association held at their headquarters in downtown Manhattan. Sam was invited to serve on a panel to discuss the implications of the Papal Encyclical, issued in June, 2015. Read more and download the full report.
Former IREJN Executive Director Terri Eickel will be honored with the Center for Serenity’s 2016 Serenity Award on Saturday, April 2 at First Baptist Church of West Hartford. Proceeds will benefit IREJN and Pastor Chuck Redfern, a former IREJN Board member who is currently battling cancer for the third time.
On March 10, 2014, 28 Democrats will take to the Senate floor to talk about climate change in an all-night effort to raise awareness about the issue. Nine year-old Lauren Shilansky wrote Senator Murphy a letter for him to read during his portion of the talkathon.
